The Brief:

Jams Kitchens Ltd located in Hertfordshire, approached Broadview for a partnership to provide a bespoke roof shading solution for restaurant Daisys in the Park in Radlett, also located in Hertfordshire. Established in 2010, Daisy’s in the Park’s philosophy is to offer something for everyone and to use uniquely sourced ingredients from local businesses for meals that are freshly made by their talented chefs. The project brief was requesting a new shading structure for the client’s outside garden space, the shading system needed to be stylish but durable against various extreme weather conditions.

The Broadview Solution:

After the initial consultation with Jams Kitchen, we recommended that a B200 louvred roof system would be best for Daisy’s in the Park. The roof system will fit perfectly with Daisy’s in the Park’s stylish environment, that showcases their natural garden surroundings. The B200 louvred roof seamlessly fits the brief, so after the go-ahead from Jams kitchen our team starting designing the bespoke shading solution.

The bespoke B200 louvred roof system was created with high-quality aluminium in the colour dark grey, to match the cafe’s decor, windows and doors. Visually the new system is a subtle extension of the building, that now provides a unique dining area for customers to enjoy the surrounding views in a more private area of the establishment.

With integrated LED lighting in the roof louvres and additional outdoor heaters, the system improves the atmosphere for evening celebrations. Our designers added sliding glass to the B200 louvred system to give the client multiple options; during summer months they can open the sliding doors to allow fresh air to circulate, whilst in winter or chilly evenings they can keep the structure fully enclosed.
