The Brief

Our loyal client, Rick Stein Restaurants, returned to Broadview to give their establishment in Barnes a modern revamp. They wanted to replace their current outdated awnings with a new giant awning that would be more suitable for the business. The client's goal was to create a covered outdoor area for diners that would allow them to extend the dining experience on the restaurant's terrace.

By creating a usable outdoor space, they could capitalise on their location being situated by the River Thames and bring the restaurant’s atmosphere to life. A new section to the Rick Stein Restaurant in Barnes would provide a more lively evening atmosphere, allowing diners to relax outside at a stunning location in stylish surroundings. 

The Result 

The new covered terrace has led to such an increase in visitor numbers, a Tuesday evening now feels like a Friday! Their new bespoke restaurant awning shields customers from both the harsh glare of the sun and passing showers and the restaurant is now able to serve food and drink outside, whatever the weather.

The exciting ambience now continues from inside the restaurant to outside, which before wasn't easily achieved as it would have depended heavily on the unpredictable British weather. The team at Rick Stein were very happy with the final result and are proud to display their branded restaurant awning all year round.
