Broadview designed and installed six Brustor B200XL louvred roof aluminium pergolas. The pergolas feature anthracite grey frames with contrasting white roof louvres, creating a stylish, modern look that complements the café’s scenic setting.
To make the most of the waterfront location, the team installed clear, frameless sliding glass from our C3 RUN system. This provided a flexible solution, allowing the space to remain open during the summer or enclosed during winter or inclement weather - all without interrupting the picturesque canal views.
Safety and compliance were also key considerations. The new space includes double aluminium gas-assisted fire exit doors with push-bar designs, ensuring the expanded area meets all required regulations.
The project added 80 additional covers, effectively doubling the café’s outdoor capacity. The client enhanced the new space further with their own lighting and sound system, creating a versatile environment suitable for all weather conditions and boosting revenue opportunities like never before.
