Hoburne Holiday Parks are a long-established name in UK holiday accommodation, offering a collection of scenic coastal and countryside retreats across the South and South West of England. Hoburne approached Broadview looking for a high-performance outdoor shading system to enhance their guest facilities at their Christchurch, Dorset venue. The project required a robust, weather-resistant solution suitable for year-round use, with a custom aesthetic to align with their branding and park environment.

The Solution

Working closely with the client, our team designed and installed a bespoke 12 metre central spine goal post frame with three supporting legs, engineered for durability and visual impact. The frame was then custom-painted in a specific RAL colour to match the park's style and branding, and securely concreted into the ground by our expert installation team for long-term stability.

Mounted to the custom frame were:

2 x 12m coupled Brustor B35 awnings
Fully enclosed cassettes for weather protection
Motorised operation with individual and combined control systems for flexibility
Client-specific fabric selected for its quality, durability, and design
Custom-painted cassettes to blend seamlessly with the goal post frame
8 remote-controlled heating units integrated to extend usability during cooler evenings and off-season periods

The Result

The completed installation at Hoburne Holiday Park has significantly enhanced the outdoor usability of the space, offering guests a comfortable, shaded environment come rain or shine. With the added benefit of integrated heating, the park can now provide an extended al fresco experience throughout more of the year – perfect for dining, events, and social gatherings.
